Gainsville Fine Arts Association. Judge’s Recognition for “Family 1943″ – Show title – ‘What We Cherish’. Here is what the judge said: “As one moves into the main exhibition space, the spectrum of cherished subjects expands. Ranging from natural spots known and loved to intimate constellations of friends and family, exploring notions of home, nostalgia, childhood, these works encourage the viewer to engage with the emotional attachment on display. From documentary to fantasy to pastiche, the works in the show reveal a commitment to express this engagement with the beloved.”
